Yeah, this guy didn’t last too long. Heck, he may have been around a few months, then got canned. Oh well, here’s the last stage of my character, and now I can get back to my normal sketches! WOOOOT!

The next stage of my character was quite a jump, but it was all mostly changes to his face. Ya know… bigger eyes, friggin’ wide chin, but he was the first to have the “mitten” hands. :-P

Lately I’ve been getting some very interesting ideas on some art I can do, but you’ll have to wait until my mini series is over to see any of it! aaaaahhhh hahaha.
Tonight, I decided to draw my sketch with a sharpie… real original, right? Told ya. This is just one picture I drew during a graphic design lecture…. and yes, I was still paying attention to the speaker. See, he actually got me fired up to make some designs and stuff, so he almost encouraged me to get distracted with drawing… in a weird, twisted way.

So, I was thinking the other day… if I play a game where EVERYONE dies at the end, or watch a movie with the same kind of ending… then what’s the point? I paid so much money just to watch everyone slowly get killed off? I mean, I can understand the lone survivor thing, but to have NO ONE live through it just kinda feels like a big middle finger. Anyway… that’s what my sketch is about this week. Well, I’m off. Later.

Orbital Drop Shock Trooper. These are the guys the new Halo game is about. They drop from a ship to a point to fight a battle. So, this week, it’s all about “dropping” jokes about the droppers.
…and sorry this picture’s so crappy. I had to draw it in paint, and I haven’t tried that in a LONG time. I really didn’t manage the time before class to draw a picture. After class, I got the midnight release, so it would’ve been too late. …what? What about after the release party? Umm… ODST? Yeah.

No, I take that back, season 2 of Big Bang Theory comes out tomorrow. I very much enjoy that show, and all of you better watch it! YOU HEAR ME?! Meh, I’m sorry guys, you’re really eating up my Ninja Gaiden 2 time, so I’ll let you off easy this time.

Arkham Asylum is as awesome as everyone says it is, but Batman… reminds me a lot of Chris Redfield. As he seems to be overly bulked and Marcus Fenix-like. I mean, sure. In order to beat the crap outta inmates you have to be huge, but… I dunno. Who cares about that anyways? Yeah, not me….err, wait. No, no I didn’t. SHUT UP! Rock BALLER!
First off, Pat will not be writing anymore for The Nerd’s Soup, he’s too busy with school and life to put aside a little time to write out a blog. ;) Naw, he’s moving on to bigger and better things, and he’ll be missed!
You can quickly tell from this comic which band game I prefer, and which company I support. The more Guitar Hero games that come out, the more the name annoys me. I’m all for social gaming, but they crank out way too many of the games, and don’t make them high quiality titles like the Rock Bands. Heck, none of the songs from any of the Guitar Hero games are compatible with each other. I like Rock Band’s song selection and style a lot more than Guitar Hero’s. Granted, they are all fun games, but I just enjoy Rock Band more than Guitar Hero. Well, that’s all you’re gettin out of me until Friday, so keep it real, guys!

This week there is Metroid Prime Trilogy (Wii), Baman Batman Arkham Asylum (360/ PS3), AND Dissidia Final Fantasy (PSP) that are all coming out Tuesday. All of which I would like to pick up, but it’s just way too much at once. At least ODST is only one month away.

Yeah, Im a jerk. What else is new? I was a jerk this entire weekend to people, and Pat can confirm that (I was on a “Mean Streak” and I couldn’t stop). But this is just another Best Buy comic about stuff that people do that gets on my nerves.
I also picked the WORST time to start a mini-series, because I just got a bunch of ideas. Well, guess I’ll have to put them off for a few weeks….ugh.

Have you seen the Best Buy commercials with the employees talking about some lame story about how they helped someone in a pinch? Like this guy?
Yeah, kinda gets on your nerves. Well, there are little paper ads in the store as well that say stuff like, “We’re Best Buy. We’re living up to our name.” Well, I had some free time, so I made a spoof off of these ads. Even my managers thought it was hilarious.

Boys and Girls (and Spartans)
Once again, I drew this one night I was at work… for some reason, work is the best place for me to get work done. Only exception is when customers distract me from drawing, but I guess I’m there to help them rather than drawing. Hehe.
Well, this year… I may have a comic about the 4th, but I hope it’s better than last years. *facepalm* It was one of the paint-drawn comics, and I probably spend five minutes thinking it up before I drew it.

Panic Mode: Engaged!
This was what I was doing the other day, playing Halo 3’s campaign with three other guys. Every time I would be shot, fall to my death, approached by an enemy, or just got bored then I would make loud shrieks/ noises. Eventually, everyone got fed up with it, but it’s just a stupid habit I have. Well, I just finished shoveling rocks in over 100° weather, so I’m going to relax the rest of the afternoon. Later!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but it is not a comic post. Friday Funnies are sticking to just Fridays, but I will be posting doodles and whatever else I got on Tuesdays. This will be a way for me to post things aside from comics, and not make people miss out on the funnies. Anywho, this post is very late, I know, but I worked both jobs today. *heavy panting* SO! Now, I finally have the chance to make a post.
The funny thing about this picture, is that I used to draw normal looking characters. It’s true! Somehow…. someway… I started drawing the smaller, simpler characters.
